2022….The year that..

2022..

The year that convinced me that,’ I AM CAPABLE.’
That if I put my mind into it,I can actually achieve.

2022..
The year that started lightly,
But ended in a big way,
Maybe not for everyone but definitely for me!

2022…
The year that continues to wow me,
Even on its very last days,
Rewarding me for the smallest effort put!

2022..
The year that was ‘not my year,’
But gave me everything I ever desired,
Giving me hope for much more,
Assuring me,’this is just the beginning.’

2022..
The year that had me questioning everything that I am and that which I have been,
Knocking me down to the ground and allowing me
Time and space to,
Dust up,stand up,and keep going.

2022..
The year that exposed my strengths and weaknesses,
Without judging myself harshly,
But accepting all that I have been,
Acknowledging mistakes and promising solutions,
Allowing me to feel deep and express my authenticity,
Taking credit for what was well done,
Cheering for what I tried and succeeded,
Tried and failed!
Celebrating the small and the big wins!

2022…
The year that had me loving what matters,
Showing up for those and what I truly care for,
Trusting in myself,
Putting in work,
Asking for help,
Crying and laughing,
Allowing life and being part of it!

2022…
The year that I truly became,who I always knew
I could be,
When my path cleared and I witnessed flow,
The year that will always be remembered for many years to come!

And as it ends in three days,
I am completely soaked in gratitude and pride,
Knowing my life experience has changed for the best,
I will never be the same as before,
For as long as I live,
And that should scare me but it doesn’t,
I am filled with hope,
And a dream for an even greater experience,
An excitement to consciously and intentionally live,
A beautiful life ahead,
From right this moment to forever!

Thank-you life,
For the year 2022!!!

THE WAY OF NATURE: Beauty in diversity

There’s beauty in diversity,
The distinct differences in that which is similar in a quick glance,
There’s fun in curiosity and learning,
There’s character in mystery!
They are all trees, with a stem,branches,a root system,
How is it that; the leaves are very different from each other,
They are trees,yes,but that is casaurina,
That’s baobab, that’s Cypress,and that’s a mango tree!
It’s the way of nature!

If trees can be trees,yet different,and be accepted as such,
How hard is it to accept people in the same way?
Why is it a ‘normal’ desire to force all  humans to fit into a box?
Why does a person have to tick a certain list,to be acceptable,
Why are we as a society,forcing similarities,
and terrified of differences amongst us?
Isn’t it enough that we are all humans?
Aren’t we part of nature?

They’re religious, but their religion is different from yours,
Why is that ground for  enmity?
They have a body,but yours is dark,light,tall ,small ,bigger, whatever,
Why is that a measure of worth and acceptance,
They have accumulated less in material possession, you have more than you need in this lifetime,
Why is that a measure of quality life?
Why are their hobbies of more importance than your own?
Why are you pressed for being who you are?
Why are you forcing your ideas and opinions on other people?
Why are you stuck on making them a point of reference,a measure of your value as a person?
Why are you comfortable with them disrespecting you,for a simple reason, that you’re not who they think you should be to be respected?
Is it not an individual’s responsibility to choose who they want to be?
And as a perfect model for what is humanly acceptable, why are you bothered about that which is not? Who has bestowed on you the power to speak for the others?
If you’re so good,living the life,why is it difficult for you to sit on your high table,and enjoy your bounty?
Is it because,deep down,there’s a part of you that knows so damn well that all these ideas you have formed over time,are not even yours to start with, ,that all this time you’ve had it all wrong,that differences are a part of nature,and it’s only right to let them exist as they come?

Humans,the  high beings close to the  gods,close to life itself,it’s claimed,
Then ,how comes,it’s been difficult to learn and embody the ways of life,
Why are you determined to destroy that which you don’t completely understand?
Is  it so much trouble to learn without wanting to change everything to your likeness? Again,who bestowed on you that power?
A problem can never be the solution,take some responsibility!
There’s beauty in diversity,

There’s fun in curiosity and learning,
And there’s character in mystery!
That’s the way of nature,isn’t it?.
